Xpoint and UTR

This coming comp we will begin using a program called Xpoint Sports which will be of benefit to all of our juniors and giving correct grading for play in our competition and other competitions they may play in.

This online system will allow players to input their own scores online post match.

It also means that results through the Xpoint system will contribute to a players Universal Tennis Rating (UTR).

UTR is calculated by an algorithm using a player's last 30 eligible match scores from the last 12 months.

The results will typically be visible on the UTR platform within 7 days of the match results being entered into Xpoint. Please head to the Xpoint Sports website and update your profile and familarise yourself with this program.

New Players

Obtain a membership number by emailing with full name, date of birth, home address, mobile number and email address. PLEASE NOTE: Each player is required to have their own email address and not share with a sibling playing in the junior comp.

Your membership number will be emailed to you to complete your registration. New players must complete two online forms – both a grading registration and competition registration form. These forms are available at the beginning of each term. Please take notice of the session time you are registering your child in.

Players are allocated a division based on their grading, so all new players must attend a grading session.

Current and Recent Past Players

Due to SJC not running since Term 2, we are requiring extra information from recent SJC players for grading purposes.  When registering for the Term 1 2022 comp, please add a note in the 'comments' box stating number of hours per week court time you are playing since July 2021.  Plus any other significant tennis experience including your current UTR to help us to grade you. If you have not played or had lessons since last comp, please add note of zero court time.

Current (Term 2) players do not need to attend a grading session. You only need to complete the online registration form including the time on court in hours and note if your standard has changed significantly.

If you are a returning player and did not play Term 1 or 2 2021, you must also complete a grading session. If you are unsure, please call the Pro Shop.

Registering for Grading (essential for all new players)

Please complete this form to register for grading.  We have allocated this date only for grading new players so please make yourself available to attend this session from Monday, 24 January 2022 at 9.30am. Please note down the time your grading takes place. One ONLY grading session will be run.
