Covid Update –  September 2021

Please note the following Tennis NSW advice - COVID-19 update in relation to vaccination requirements for outdoor gatherings coming into effect September 13.

•             For those who live outside the LGAs of concern, outdoor gatherings of up to five people (including children) will be allowed in a person's LGA or within 5km of home, as long as they are all fully vaccinated.

•             For those who live in the LGAs of concern, households with all adults vaccinated will be able to gather outdoors for recreation (including picnics) within the existing rules (outside curfew hours and within 5km of home).

All persons booking courts as per the above guideline will need to have with them proof of their vaccination status.

Be aware that you may be asked for identification to confirm that you are within your LGA or within 5kms (Parramatta LGA 5kms) of your residence by Police who do patrol the area. Everyone must sign in via the QR code notices that are available, or be a ‘dependent’ on another person’s QR sign in. Maps are available online that will give you a radius measure from your address if you are unsure of the distance you live from one of our Centres.

Please follow the rules that are in place around the Public Health Orders, e.g. do not come to the centre if unwell, don’t mingle, leave the courts after you finish your court hire time promptly. Club houses will be closed during this period so bring your own drinks, hand towel and sanitiser. If you are unsure of the rules please click here to access the Tennis NSW latest updates.

Currently all of our social, competitions, grading, Saturday juniors are postponed at this time. If you would like to continue to play tennis book through the online booking system.

Our Family Fun Day has also been postponed till later in the year.

We would like to give notice that the AGM is approaching and will be held at the Pennant Hills club house 7.30pm 21 September 2021

A healthy member Association is one where there are various volunteers who bring different skills and knowledge to the Committee of Management (COM) and ensures that it continues to flourish.

This had been achieved by the work of many over the preceding years and the Association continues to grow and to be able to develop the product offers and maintain the centre to a high standard for members and the wider community. You would have seen the recent development of our new branding and website for members and for the general community and there are more exciting things in the planning!

In the next year or two we are looking to enhance greatly our clubhouse and it’s amenities and if there are any members, or family or friends of members prepared to step forward to help plan and develop this vision and become involved it will potentially be an exciting time to become involved at Pennant Hills - so come forward!

If you don’t want to be full time members of the Committee we are happy to accept help with different skill sets you may have, especially around tender writing, connections with the business community and council in either Parramatta and Hornsby.

If you have any questions or would like more information please talk to any of the current executive – Matt Condon, Mary Baker, Kaye McIntyre, Dennis Pike, Andy Kleiberg or Clare Perry ....  Notice of ETDTA AGM 2021 ...AGM Nomination Form July 2021
