Junior Age Club Championship 2024
The Junior Age Club Championship Tournament will be held in May 2024 and is open to all our Saturday Junior comp members, Interdistrict members or Voyager members.
The tournament is an age based event with age groups from 10 & under, up to 18 & under for both boys and girls.
Our Junior members are encouraged to participate as it presents a great tennis development opportunity. Age championships are also a pathway to playing in the Sydney Metropolitan Interdistrict competition for North West Sydney Tennis.
The Junior Age Championships at NWST is an important part of our club history. In 1986 the Association started honour boards to celebrate our Junior champions and their names are inscribed on our championship boards which are displayed in our main clubhouse. We have had a number of Junior members reach high levels of success, who have progressed to International rankings, playing club tennis in Europe, accepted scholarships to colleges in America, become qualified Coaches, coaching not only locally but as far and wide as Italy and Singapore.
This tournament is steeped in history and acts as a way of increasing our Junior's exposure to tournaments to assist them in continuing their tennis development. Our juniors are the future of our Association and we prioritse their development by always nurturing, supporting and providing opportunities where they can shine.
Tournament Dates and Schedule 2024
From 5.30pm Friday 24 May 2024 - Singles
From 5.30pm Saturday 25 May 2024 - Doubles
From 9.00am Sunday 26 May 2024 - Finals

Eligibility
All players who register for this tournament must be a current member of NWST (ETDTA). Non members are welcome to enter and will recieve a 12 month junior club membership for the discounted rate of $20 (plus entry fee)

Entry Fees 2024
Singles - $20
Doubles - $15 per individual ($30 per pair)
Our Saturday Junior Comp players receive automatic entry when they pay their term 2 fees.
