School Boys and School Girls Tournament
The School Boys and Girls Tournament held by North West Sydney Tennis in November each year is a unique opportunity for schools to compete against each other. It is based not just on schools competing but also individual school players. There are prizes that are awarded to the winning schools up to a total of approximately $2,600.
Players compete in individual events (singles and doubles) as they normally do in junior tournaments. As they win matches they earn points for their school. There are four school team events opportunities: Open and 3 Primary for which school points are awarded.
The tournament will be played on weekdays and each competitor will need one day off school for their particular events. Each day single matches will commence at 8.30am and continue up to the Semi Finals. Double matches will be drawn from approximately 1pm and continue until Semi Finals.
There are also five school team events for boys and girls for which school points are awarded.
Courts used are at Pennant Hills Park Tennis Centre and possibly at Parramatta’s Tennis Complex.
The tournament is supported by Tennis NSW but does not carry Australian Ranking Points.
Participants are required to have a Tennis ID number.
- If you do not have a Tennis ID number but are a member of Tennis NSW you will need to call 1800 Play Tennis to get your number.
- If you are not a member of Tennis NSW please send an email to info@northwestsydneytennis.com.au and we will arrange membership, advise you and then you can call 1800 Play Tennis to receive your Tennis ID number.
2024 Dates: Thursday 21st November, Friday 22nd November, Monday 25 November - Friday 29 November
All finals matches will be played on Thursday 28 November and Friday 29 November

We are offering a new alternate entry option. If you prefer, email your entry to Alan Ling apltennis19@gmail.com and you will be placed in the draw (upon received payment).
Payment accepted by direct debit: Account Name ETDTA BSB 032-087 Account Number 27-9900 In the description, players full name MUST be included. School team entry MUST include school name.

If you are wishing to enter your students into a school team event, please send an email with your school name, two players full name and the event number to Alan Ling (tournament director) apltennis19@gmail.com.
2 x players per team - 2 x singles sets and 1 x doubles set - $30 per player (payment made by school via direct debit)
