The Interdistrict Competition is a representative competition, run by the NSW Hardcourt Tennis Association, and is played in the Sydney metropolitan and near Sydney areas, from the Blue Mountains through to Newcastle and Kiama.

The competition started in 1921, and since then has developed to include adults and juniors and gives our premier players the opportunity to represent their Association and compete against some of the elite players of other Associations. They compete for trophies such as the perpetual trophies of F. O. Blackwell Cup, the Angus & Coote Cup and George McKerihan Shield.

Teams consist of 3 players playing each week, and if required, more than one team will be selected and nominated.

Players who nominate and are then selected will need to commit to playing every match as your team may not have reserve players to fill in. It is advised that you will need to provide your own food and drinks.

Our member player selected into teams will incur costs for team registration and for an Interdistrict shirt. All players are expected to provide a pair of white shorts or white skirt.
